Ayahuasca vs. Ibogaine
Ayahuasca and ibogaine both served as triggers for my "religion" or "spiritual awakening" as well, although I can't describe that spirituality with labels. I never had a huge amount of interest in astrology until I had experienced that, now I do. I've also come to see the connections between religions no matter how different they may seem on the surface, everything from Buddhism to Christianity, and that the concept of cellular balance and harmony is either symbolically or literally revealed in all of them. I think there are multiple paths one can take to reach "God", or to more accurately express it, to awaken the God within.
The Sun in Astrology
Most horoscopes that you might find in the paper or online class people based on their sun sign, which is extremely important but only a fragment of the whole astrological story, as they rarely mention the locations and aspects of the other planets at the time of birth (astrology classifies the sun, moon and pluto as planets rather than as stars or satellites). With my sun sign in Virgo, I always noticed that I tended to fit much of the general description of a Virgo that I found in the type of horoscopes you might see in the paper -- reserved, analytical, perfectionist, often overly critical and tending to focus on details without being able to see the "big picture".
The Moon in Astrology
The moon is one of the most important "planets" that affect our lives here on earth, as among other things it represents our emotional needs and ability to react spontaneously.
